With the increased use of radiology, including CT scans for the screening of chest disease, there is increased pressure to diagnose, work-up and treat the variety of lung nodules , masses and other abnormalities found.

In order to assist you and expedite patient care, the thoracic surgeons at St. Joseph's Health Centre are excited to introduce our new Lung Hotline. You can now send an e-referral, call 416.530.6231 and / or fax your referral to 416.530.6798 for any patient with new (or pre-existing) lung abnormality and they will be seen within 72hrs. They will get rapid access to our multi-disciplinary lung clinic. We work together with respirologists, radiologists, medical and radiation oncologists to allow for the most expedient assessment and treatment of all lung nodules, masses and other abnormalities.
